A 5-year-old and a 16-year-old were seriously injured when an e-scooter and a vehicle collided Friday afternoon near the 600 block of Center Road in Everett, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded at about 2:22 p.m. The 5-year-old had life-threatening injuries, while the teenager was seriously injured, the sheriff’s office said. Both were taken to Providence Regional Medical Center for treatment.
The vehicle was traveling eastbound, officials said. Its driver and two young children inside sustained minor injuries; the driver was also taken to the hospital.
