Seven proposed King of Prussia data centers lose zoning applications

Developers have withdrawn applications for a seven-building data center campus in King of Prussia, canceling a zoning hearing scheduled for Wednesday. A separate lawsuit by developer Brian O’Neill against Upper Merion Township means the dispute may continue in court.

Seven proposed King of Prussia data centers lose zoning applications

Developers seeking approval for seven data centers in King of Prussia have withdrawn their applications, halting the township’s zoning review of the proposed campus for now.

A zoning hearing scheduled to continue Wednesday was canceled after the applications were withdrawn. Opponents of the project have described the move as a major win in their effort to block the data centers.

The withdrawal does not necessarily end the dispute. Developer Brian O’Neill is suing Upper Merion Township, and the case could proceed in court. O’Neill did not respond to a request for comment.
