The robbery happened around 12:45 p.m. Oct. 22 near Courtland and 11th streets, according to police. The men were standing beside a silver Jeep Compass with its hood open and asked the woman to help start it, police said. One of them then displayed a firearm and took her purse.
The suspects fled south on 11th Street. Police released surveillance footage Tuesday as they seek to identify the men.
Police described one suspect as about 5 feet 8 inches tall, wearing black Adidas pants with a white stripe and a mask. The other was described as about 5 feet 9 inches tall, with short dreadlocks, a black jacket and black pants. Investigators believe they were using a newer-model silver Jeep Compass.
