Kevin Cobbs, 36, fatally shot on North Allison Street in West Philly
Kevin Cobbs was taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center after a shooting Tuesday night in the 500 block of North Allison Street and was pronounced dead. No arrests have been announced, and Philadelphia police are investigating a motive.
A 36-year-old man was fatally shot Tuesday night in West Philadelphia, police said.
The shooting happened around 8 p.m. in the 500 block of North Allison Street. The victim, identified as Kevin Cobbs, was taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
Police cordoned off part of the street and sidewalk as investigators worked at the scene. No arrests had been made as of Wednesday, and the department’s homicide unit is investigating the motive.
