A water-main break near Northwest 63rd Street forced the closure of southbound May Avenue in northwest Oklahoma City on Wednesday, Oct. 21, disrupting travel for a second time this week.
The closure runs from Northwest 59th Street to United Way Boulevard. Water had been flowing for hours, and crews were expected to keep working on repairs until Wednesday evening.
The break was the same one reported Monday. Drivers heading south on May Avenue were advised to use another route. No estimate for reopening the lanes was provided.
