Oklahoma adds mixed marijuana products to recall after contamination testing

The Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority expanded a medical marijuana recall on Monday, Oct. 26, to cover specific mixed products from batch BIS091326-2, saying part of the batch was combined with marijuana that failed required testing for yeast and mold.

The batch initially passed laboratory testing. OMMA said it later learned that a portion had been mixed with a failed batch, making the affected products unsafe. The agency’s expanded recall applies only to the mixed products from BIS091326-2, not necessarily every product carrying that batch number.

The agency had issued an earlier recall this month for two flower production batches from Blue Collar Criminals Collective. The grow facility reported the testing failures to OMMA after the products had been sent to dispensaries.

Patients who bought recalled products should dispose of them or contact the dispensary where they were purchased. Dispensaries have been directed to remove affected products from their shelves immediately. OMMA maintains a list of recalled and embargoed products on its website.
