Joseph Wheeler dies after Carter County UTV leaves road and hits tree
Joseph Wheeler, 35, of Ringling died after a Can-Am UTV crashed on Faith Hill Road in Carter County on Oct. 24. The vehicle’s driver was injured, authorities said.
A 35-year-old Ringling man died after a utility terrain vehicle left Faith Hill Road and struck a tree in Carter County on Saturday evening, Oct. 24, authorities said.
Emergency crews were called to the crash at about 7 p.m. The Can-Am UTV was traveling east when it veered off the road to the left and hit the tree, according to authorities.
Joseph Wheeler was riding as a passenger and died from his injuries. The driver was injured; officials did not provide information about the driver’s condition.
