WHITEFISH BAY, Wis. — Whitefish Bay police are investigating two reports involving a man who approached young girls in the village and are warning parents to remain alert. Police said an 8-year-old girl was approached at about 1 p.m. Sunday. The man allegedly asked her name repeatedly and asked whether she needed a ride. In a separate incident, police said a 16-year-old girl was asked whether she had a TikTok account. Neither girl was injured, according to police. Authorities have not released the locations of the encounters within Whitefish Bay. The person sought by investigators is described as a heavy-set man believed to be between 40 and 50 years old. Police said he was driving a small silver or gray four-door sedan. Anyone who may have information about the incidents is asked to contact the Whitefish Bay Police Department. Police have not announced an arrest or identified a suspect.
