MILWAUKEE — A pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle near Timmerman Airport early Tuesday morning, according to the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office. The crash was reported at about 6 a.m. Sept. 22 at North 92nd Street and West Hampton Avenue. The collision shut down Hampton Avenue in both directions while police investigated. The driver stayed at the scene and spoke with police. Investigators had not said what caused the crash or whether the driver would face charges. Drivers were advised to avoid the area during the investigation. No additional information about the pedestrian was immediately released.
