Nine people, including seven children, were taken to hospitals early Wednesday after a suspected carbon monoxide exposure at a home in the Town of Osceola, the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office said. A homeowner called 911 at about 2:05 a.m. Sept. 30 from the residence on County Road B, reporting that several people had symptoms consistent with carbon monoxide poisoning. The children, ages 4, 7, 9, 12, 14, 16 and 17, were transported by ambulance to local hospitals. A 46-year-old man and a 42-year-old woman were also hospitalized. Officials have not said what caused the suspected exposure. The incident remains under investigation.
