MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee police are investigating a fatal shooting that claimed the life of a 16-year-old near Clarke Square Park. The shooting happened shortly before 5 p.m. Sept. 16 near the intersection of Layton Boulevard and Greenfield Avenue, according to police. The teenager was taken to a hospital and later died. Police have not released details about what led to the shooting or identified a suspect. Investigators are continuing to search for the person or people responsible.
