MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee police are investigating the theft of a vehicle that had a 5-year-old child inside and have arrested a 25-year-old woman in connection with the case. Police said the vehicle was taken at about 10:15 p.m. Monday from the 8500 block of West Congress Street. The child was later found unharmed, although authorities have not disclosed when or where the child was located. The woman was arrested Tuesday in the 2100 block of North 41st Street, according to police. Authorities have not released additional information about possible charges or what led investigators to identify the suspect. The investigation remains ongoing.
