ENDEAVOR, Wis. — A tree growing at Silent Night Evergreens in Endeavor has been selected as the official White House Christmas tree for the 2026 holiday season. The 30-foot tree was chosen Monday by the White House grounds superintendent during a visit to the farm, which is north of Portage in Marquette County. The tree is nearly 20 years old. Farm workers plan to harvest it shortly before Thanksgiving. After being transported to Washington, it will be installed in the White House Blue Room, where it will serve as a centerpiece of the holiday decorations. This marks the fourth time Silent Night Evergreens has provided the White House Christmas tree, giving the small Wisconsin operation another national showcase for its work growing and preparing holiday trees. The selection also puts Endeavor, a village of roughly 1,300 people, in the national spotlight as the holiday season approaches.
