Two people were killed Sunday morning when a Ford Focus and two motorcycles collided on County Trunk F in the Town of Concord, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office. The crash happened at about 10:10 a.m., roughly a mile north of U.S. Highway 18. Investigators said the car was traveling south and the motorcycles were heading north when the Focus driver believed the motorcycles were in the southbound lanes. The driver moved into the northbound lanes, where the vehicles collided. One motorcycle’s driver and passenger died at the scene. The other motorcycle driver and the Focus driver suffered minor injuries and were taken to Aurora Medical Center in Summit for treatment. The sheriff’s office said the investigation is ongoing.
