Mediterranean fast-casual chain Cava plans Hilldale debut this fall
MADISON, Wis. — Cava plans to open its first Madison restaurant at Hilldale this fall, adding another national dining chain to the shopping center’s growing lineup. The Mediterranean-inspired restaurant will be located next to Chase Bank and LaserAway. Its menu will include build-your-own bowls and pitas, along with dips and dressings. Amanda Stiebens, Hilldale’s general manager, said the restaurant’s customizable format should appeal to a wide range of diners. “CAVA brings bold flavors and a build-your-own format that makes it easy for everyone to find something they love,” Stiebens said. “We can’t wait for Madison to experience it.” Before the opening, Cava plans to hold a Community Day. The event will offer free meals to attendees and collect donations for a local cause. Cava said it will match those donations up to $1,000, although the specific beneficiary and event date were not announced. The opening comes as Hilldale continues to add restaurants. North Italia recently opened at the shopping center, offering Italian food, drinks and desserts.
