Evidence seized in Green County investigation after New Glarus search

Investigators searched a home on New Glarus’ Fifth Avenue Thursday morning after receiving cyber-tips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. No arrests have been made as evidence is reviewed.

Evidence seized in Green County investigation after New Glarus search
Green County sheriff’s investigators seized evidence from a New Glarus home Thursday as part of an investigation prompted by cyber-tips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, authorities said. The Sheriff’s Office Tactical Response Team served a search warrant at about 7:45 a.m. in the 600 block of Fifth Avenue. Detectives said their investigation found media depicting child pornography. The evidence will be processed and reviewed. No arrests had been made as of the Sheriff’s Office’s update. New Glarus police assisted with the search. Authorities said they would provide further information when available.
