LAS VEGAS — As early voting opened in Clark County on Saturday, Indivisible Las Vegas held events at eight locations across the valley to encourage residents to cast their ballots ahead of Election Day.

At Desert Breeze Community Center, volunteers waved signs, offered food and took photos as they directed voters toward the polling site. The group called the effort “No Kings, Vote Early” and described it as a celebration rather than a protest.

Beth Osborne of Indivisible Las Vegas said the events coincided with the first day of early voting and were part of the fourth national “No Kings” gathering. The local effort, she said, focused on getting people to vote.

Organizers urged voters to cast ballots early to reduce the risk of problems closer to Election Day. Clark County voters can use any early-voting location in the county, and voters may also return mail ballots in person, according to the group.

Osborne said Nevada provides two weeks of early voting and sends mail ballots to registered voters. She encouraged residents to submit ballots early so they can be counted.
