Vegas Pumpkin Patch brings 28 rides to its Halloween-season attraction

LAS VEGAS — The Vegas Pumpkin Patch is welcoming visitors daily through Halloween, with 28 carnival rides, seasonal decorations and oversized pumpkins among its attractions.
Owner Sherry McKay said the setup takes about two weeks, with crews working roughly 12 hours a day to prepare the site. She has organized pumpkin patches in the Las Vegas area for about 20 years.
The pumpkins on display weigh between 250 and 500 pounds, McKay said. She said the decorations and photo areas are carefully arranged to give families a place to celebrate fall and get ready for Halloween.
The attraction will remain open every day through Oct. 31.
