Henderson crash on Lake Mead Parkway kills one, injures another
A driver died Saturday night after a Chevrolet Bolt crossed the center line and collided head-on with a Dodge Durango near Lake Las Vegas Parkway. The Durango driver was hospitalized with injuries police described as non-life-threatening.
A driver was killed and another person injured in a head-on collision Saturday night on Lake Mead Parkway in Henderson, police said.
The crash happened shortly before 8:30 p.m. near Lake Las Vegas Parkway. A Chevrolet Bolt crossed the double yellow lines and struck a Dodge Durango, according to Henderson police.
The Bolt’s driver died at the scene. The Durango’s driver sustained injuries that were not considered life-threatening and was taken to a local hospital.
Henderson police and fire crews responded. Police said the Durango driver was not suspected of impairment. The crash remains under investigation.
