Woman dies in four-vehicle crash on I-465 westbound at Keystone exit
A woman died Monday morning after a four-vehicle chain-reaction crash on I-465 westbound near the Keystone Avenue exit. State police said she was driving the second vehicle in the sequence.
A woman died Monday morning in a four-vehicle crash on westbound Interstate 465 at the Keystone Avenue exit ramp in Indianapolis, Indiana State Police said.
The collision happened at about 7:20 a.m. and involved a rear-end chain reaction, according to Sgt. John Perrine. The woman was driving the second vehicle in the four-car sequence and suffered fatal injuries.
An off-duty police officer arrived soon after the crash and pronounced the woman dead at the scene, Perrine said. Authorities had not released information about other injuries or how many people were in the vehicles as of Monday afternoon.
