A wildfire burning in Boulder County prompted an evacuation warning Tuesday, Oct. 6, for the area near the Dry Saint Vrain Trailhead, the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office said. The fire is north of Highway 7, off Forest Service Road 920. The sheriff’s office advised people in the warned area to prepare to evacuate and to leave immediately if they need extra time to get out. Smoke may be visible around Lyons and Allenspark, the sheriff’s office said. No further details about the fire’s size, containment or impacts were provided in the county’s announcement.
