Keller ISD bond vote would authorize $828.1 million for schools and athletic facilities

Keller Independent School District voters will decide in the Nov. 3, 2026, midterm election whether to authorize $828,107,815 in bonds for school facilities, security, technology and athletics. The package is divided into five propositions, so voters can approve or reject each one separately.

The largest measure, Proposition A, would authorize $756.3 million for districtwide work on school facilities. Listed purposes include safety and security improvements, renovations and modernization, replacement of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and heating and cooling systems, and upgrades to technology networks and equipment.

Proposition B would provide $28 million to replace instructional technology devices used by students, teachers and staff. The bonds would have a maximum maturity of five years.

The remaining three proposals focus on athletics. Proposition C would authorize $8.87 million to improve and equip the Keller Natatorium. Proposition D seeks $11.03 million for improvements and expansion of the Keller ISD Athletics Complex and fieldhouse. Proposition E would provide $23.91 million to install artificial turf at high school baseball and softball facilities and middle school competition fields.

All five propositions state that issuing the bonds would constitute a property tax increase and authorize the district to levy taxes to repay principal and interest. The ballot language provided for the election does not specify a tax-rate change or estimate how much a typical homeowner’s bill could rise.

Early voting is scheduled for Oct. 19 through Oct. 30. Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 3.
