Grapevine arrest: Former Fort Worth church volunteer faces three charges
Brandon Dillard, a former volunteer associate pastor at IMRSN Church in Fort Worth, was arrested Oct. 7 in Grapevine and charged with three offenses, according to court records and an arrest report. The charges are indecency with a child by sexual contact, assault causing bodily injury to a family member, and assault against a family or household member by impeding breathing or circulation. The allegations have not been detailed publicly, and an arrest is not a finding of guilt. Dillard, 48, was being held in Tarrant County jail on a $230,000 bond, court records show. Church officials said Dillard had resigned from his volunteer position several weeks before his arrest and was no longer part of the church team. In a statement, the church said its prayers were with the family. Authorities had not released further details about the arrest as of Oct. 12.
