Police were called to the 200 block of North Wheatland Avenue at about 7:30 p.m., according to a police dispatcher. One person was taken to a local hospital in critical condition and was pronounced dead at approximately 8 p.m.
Investigators continued working at the scene Monday night. Police had not identified a suspect, and additional details about what led to the shooting were not immediately available.
