CANAL WINCHESTER, Ohio — Canal Winchester High School football coach Rob Page resigned Wednesday after a district investigation substantiated reports of unprofessional conduct involving a student-athlete, school officials said. Page was placed on administrative leave over the weekend while the district reviewed the reports, according to Jacob Ramsey II, the school’s director of athletics. Page also resigned from his classroom position as an intervention specialist. The district did not disclose the specific allegations. In a message to parents, officials said the conduct occurred in Page’s role as a coach and not in his work as an intervention specialist. “The conduct identified through the investigation was unacceptable and inconsistent with the standards we expect from staff members trusted with the care and support of our students,” Ramsey said. Page became Canal Winchester’s head coach before the 2025 season and coached 17 games. The team finished 10-2 last season and entered this season with a 2-3 record. Corey Coe, the team’s defensive coordinator, will serve as head coach for the remainder of the season. The district did not announce a timetable for selecting a permanent replacement.
