JERSEY TOWNSHIP, Ohio — An 18-year-old man was killed and two juvenile passengers were hospitalized after a single-vehicle crash Tuesday night on Mink Street in Licking County. The crash happened near the intersection with Condit Road, east of New Albany, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol. Troopers found a 2015 Dodge Ram 1500 off the west side of the road with three occupants. Investigators said the driver, Isaac Aguilera of Colorado, was traveling north on Mink Street when he lost control. The truck crossed the center line, ran off the roadway and struck a ditch, a tree, a fence and another tree before stopping. Aguilera was ejected from the driver’s seat and was pronounced dead at the scene. The passengers, who were 16 and 13 years old, were taken to a hospital for treatment. Their conditions were not available. The patrol has not said whether the occupants were wearing seat belts, and investigators have not identified what led Aguilera to lose control. The crash remains under investigation.
