COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Franklin County Municipal Courthouse will be closed to the public through Friday, Sept. 25, as crews carry out emergency building maintenance, court officials said Tuesday. The courthouse is expected to return to normal operations Monday, Sept. 28. Court cases scheduled during the closure will be moved to later dates, and written notices with the new dates will be mailed to the people involved. The court will still hold in-custody arraignment hearings Saturday, but members of the public will not be permitted in the courtroom gallery for those proceedings. The clerk’s office will continue to accept bail and bond payments. Criminal and traffic court phone lines will remain open, and online e-filing services will continue to operate during the closure.
