Bears get Caleb Williams back as Atlanta game roster is set

The Chicago Bears will have quarterback Caleb Williams back for Sunday’s game against the Atlanta Falcons. Williams is active after missing the team’s previous three games with a hamstring injury, as the 3-2 Bears look to return to the field with their starting quarterback.

Tyson Bagent will serve as Williams’ backup, and Case Keenum is the emergency third quarterback, the team said. Bagent was benched last week after struggling against the Green Bay Packers.

Cornerback Tyrique Stevenson, who was listed as questionable with a hip injury, is out. Kyler Gordon, a defensive back activated from the physically unable to perform list Saturday, is active.

Running back Kyle Monangai, who has thumb and toe injuries, and linebackers Keyshaun Elliott, with a quadriceps injury, and T.J. Edwards, with a hamstring injury, are also inactive. Offensive lineman Jordan McFadden and defensive lineman Jayden Loving round out Chicago’s inactive list.

Kickoff is scheduled for noon, with the game set to air on Fox.
