A person was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries after a shooting in west Charlotte on Monday night, according to MEDIC, the county’s emergency medical services provider.
Crews responded around 8:30 p.m. to the 5100 block of Old Down Road and transported the injured person to a nearby hospital, MEDIC said.
Authorities had not released further details about the shooting, including the circumstances or whether anyone had been arrested.
