IREDELL COUNTY, N.C. — Corvid Technologies plans to invest $95 million in an expansion at its Mooresville headquarters, adding 423 jobs and a 400,000-square-foot manufacturing facility, Gov. Josh Stein announced Tuesday, Oct. 13. The new facility will support engineering and manufacturing of vehicle launch systems. The company is an employee-owned defense contractor specializing in digital engineering, simulation modeling and precision manufacturing. It was founded in 2004 as a modeling and simulation firm. Corvid is recruiting for positions including assemblers, electricians, engineers, production managers, technicians and testers. The jobs are expected to pay an average annual salary of $81,550, above Iredell County’s average wage of $64,895.
