Police: Pawtucket man found outside Attleboro school after overnight break-in
A 25-year-old Pawtucket man was arrested after police responding to an alarm at Brennan Middle School found damage inside and a break-in at a parked cruiser. He is accused of assaulting three officers and was expected in court Monday.
A 25-year-old Pawtucket, Rhode Island, man was arrested early Sunday after police found him outside Brennan Middle School in Attleboro following a reported break-in, authorities said.
Police said an alarm detected motion inside the school at about 4:43 a.m. Officers found that someone had searched through lockers and damaged 13 window screens. They also discovered that someone had entered a police cruiser parked outside.
Officers found Jamison Grover outside the school with property belonging to a student, according to police. Authorities said he was uncooperative during his arrest, shouting and swearing, and later assaulted three officers at the police station.
Grover was taken to a hospital for evaluation before a scheduled arraignment Monday in Attleboro District Court. The charges listed by police include assault and battery, breaking and entering, malicious destruction of property and disorderly conduct. It was not clear whether he had a lawyer who could comment on the allegations.
