A Buffalo, New York, man was arrested Friday in connection with a threat to kill Republican U.S. Senate nominee Mike Collins and Collins’ son-in-law, Georgia authorities said. Anthony Lantrell Bennett faces two counts of terroristic threats in Butts County, south of Atlanta, the Butts County Sheriff’s Office said. The arrest involved the Georgia Bureau of Investigation and the FBI’s Buffalo Field Office. Butts County Sheriff Gary Long and deputies traveled to Buffalo to assist with the arrest, according to the FBI’s Buffalo office.
