A woman was taken to Rhode Island Hospital with serious injuries after a crash on Newport Avenue in East Providence on Saturday night. Police traffic division personnel and crash investigators responded.
A woman suffered serious injuries in a crash on Newport Avenue in East Providence on Saturday night, Oct. 24, 2026, and was taken to Rhode Island Hospital, Police Chief Michael Rapoza said.
The department’s traffic division and crash investigators were also called to the scene. Officials had not released further details about the crash or its cause.
