A Providence man faces three charges after a bullet reportedly pierced a wall between apartments Saturday night, prompting police to investigate a report of gunfire.
A resident found a bullet hole in a wall and a projectile in the same room, Providence police said. Officers arrested Sean Pagan, 34, who lived in the adjoining apartment on the other side of the wall.
Police obtained a search warrant after the arrest and recovered two firearms from Pagan’s apartment. Investigators said Pagan told detectives he had accidentally discharged a firearm inside his home.
