Arson investigation underway after fatal car fire on Enterprise Avenue
A man was found dead inside a burning car in a parking lot near Philadelphia International Airport early Sunday. The city Fire Marshal’s Office ruled the fire an arson; the man’s identity has not been released.
A man was found dead inside a burning car early Sunday in a parking lot on the 8400 block of Enterprise Avenue, near Philadelphia International Airport, police said.
Police, firefighters and medics responded shortly before 2 a.m. on Oct. 18. The car was ablaze when officers arrived, and emergency crews put out the fire. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Philadelphia Fire Marshal’s Office determined the fire was intentionally set. Authorities have not released the man’s identity or announced further details about the investigation.
