A 62-year-old man died Monday after a fire consumed a mobile home in Midwest City, authorities said. Midwest City firefighters were called at about 9 a.m. to the home in the 9700 block of N.E. 19th Street. Witnesses told dispatchers the home was engulfed and someone might still be inside. Fire crews arrived within minutes and began searching the building. They found the man in the rear of the home, and he was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have not released his identity. The fire destroyed the mobile home. Its cause remains under investigation.
