Cumberland County authorities seek six siblings missing since Oct. 22
Six children from the Crossville area have been missing since Oct. 22, and investigators believe they may be traveling with their non-custodial parent toward Mexico. Authorities are asking the public to report sightings without approaching the family or vehicle.
Authorities in Cumberland County are searching for six siblings who have been missing since Oct. 22, when they were last seen on Creston Road near Crossville, according to the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office.
Investigators say the children’s non-custodial parent, Misty Ware, took them. They are concerned for the children’s safety and believe Ware may be traveling toward Mexico in a red Chrysler Town & Country minivan. Officials said Ware has connections to Cumberland County, Marion County and Georgia.
The children are Anahi Ware, 16; Maximo Ware, 10; Abalino Almaraz-Ware, 8; Luisa Almaraz-Ware, 5; Paloma Ware, 3; and Felix Ware, 9 months old. Authorities said all six have brown hair and brown eyes. Their clothing at the time they were taken is unknown.
Anyone who sees the children or the minivan should call 911 and should not try to stop the vehicle or confront anyone. Tips can also be given to the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office at 931-484-6176; callers may ask for Sgt. Thomas Henderson. The office also advises people to contact local police with information.
