Appeals court voids Hope Florida report but leaves questions about $10 million transfer
A Florida appeals court overturned a grand jury report on how $10 million from a Centene settlement flowed through the Hope Florida Foundation and into political committees. The ruling said the money was never state property and the grand jury exceeded its authority by naming people without indicting them, but it did not settle lingering questions about who arranged the transfer.
