MADISON, Wis. — University of Wisconsin Police reported 10 arrests during Wisconsin’s football game against Eastern Michigan on Saturday, Sept. 19, at Camp Randall Stadium. Nineteen people were ejected from the stadium, and nine of the 10 people arrested were UW students, police said. Fourteen of those ejected were also UW students. Police issued 11 citations during the game. Nine cited people for underage alcohol possession, while another citation involved unauthorized alcohol possession. The remaining citation was issued for throwing hard objects. Ten of the 11 citations went to UW students. Among the ejections that did not lead to a citation, five involved seating issues, three involved smoking or vaping, and one involved a disorderly patron, according to the police report. Emergency responders recorded 10 first-aid calls and four calls requiring paramedics during the game. The report did not provide additional information about the arrests, citations or medical incidents.
