TARC Route 8 offers access to Louisville’s car-free Hillcrest Halloween
Vehicles will be barred from Hillcrest Avenue during the Oct. 31 trick-or-treat event, which runs from 5 to 9 p.m. TARC’s Route 8 stops at Hillcrest and Frankfort; regular fares apply.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Families heading to Halloween on Hillcrest can take TARC’s Route 8 to avoid driving to the neighborhood event, where vehicles will not be allowed on Hillcrest Avenue on Halloween night.
The bus route stops at Hillcrest and Frankfort, and regular fares apply. The event is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 31, from 5 to 9 p.m.
Trick-or-treating is free, but attendees need tickets. Louisville Metro Police will distribute tickets on either side of the street.
