ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. â A fatal crash on Interstate 95 southbound in St. Johns County blocked two right lanes early Saturday morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred shortly after 1 a.m. just before International Golf Parkway, troopers said. Two right lanes remained blocked as emergency crews responded to the scene, and drivers traveling through the area were advised to expect delays and use caution.

The stretch of I-95 near International Golf Parkway is a heavily traveled corridor through northern St. Johns County, where growth has brought more traffic and, with it, persistent safety concerns. Early-morning crashes on the interstate can snarl commutes for hours, and Saturday's closure added to the disruptions already facing drivers in the region.
