A 67-year-old Chillicothe man died Monday after being struck by a car while walking along Rozelle Creek Road in Ross County, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol. The crash was reported shortly after 5:10 p.m. near the road’s intersection with State Route 772, just east of the highway in Huntington Township. Troopers identified the man as Willard Colvin. Colvin was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver, a 23-year-old woman from McArthur, was driving a 2021 Kia K5 and reported no injuries, the patrol said. Authorities have not said what led to the collision. The crash is under investigation.
