A man died after being found with multiple stab wounds during a well-being check Saturday night in Chicago Lawn, Chicago police said.
Officers were called at about 8:34 p.m. to the 2400 block of West 61st Street. When they arrived, paramedics were preparing to transport the man to an ambulance. He was unresponsive when paramedics reached him, police said.
The man was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Police have not released his identity, and no further details about the stabbing were immediately available. A death investigation is underway.
