Luke Kuechly will receive his Pro Football Hall of Fame Ring of Excellence during halftime of the Panthers’ Sunday game against Tampa Bay. He is also scheduled to lead the team’s Keep Pounding drum before kickoff.
Former Carolina Panthers linebacker Luke Kuechly is set to receive his Pro Football Hall of Fame Ring of Excellence during halftime of the team’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, Oct. 25, at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte.
Kuechly, a member of the Hall of Fame’s Class of 2026, will also serve as the Keep Pounding Drummer before kickoff, a role tied to the Panthers’ rallying cry.
The Hall of Fame ring is made of 14-karat gold and has 1.75 carats of diamonds. Diamonds around its edge are arranged to evoke a stadium, with a football-shaped diamond at the center and a blue gemstone. The inside bears the number 386, identifying Kuechly as the 386th member of the 387-member Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Kuechly played linebacker for Carolina and became one of the franchise’s most celebrated players. Sunday’s presentation will bring the Hall of Fame recognition to the stadium where he played for the Panthers.
