Charlotte stadium renovation names Marsh, local firm to manage construction insurance
Tepper Sports & Entertainment has chosen Marsh and Charlotte-based Partners Risk Strategies to arrange insurance for Bank of America Stadium’s renovation, valued at more than $1.3 billion. The multiyear work is being staged to keep Panthers and Charlotte FC games at the venue uninterrupted.
CHARLOTTE — Tepper Sports & Entertainment has selected Marsh and Charlotte-based Partners Risk Strategies to advise on and manage insurance for the renovation of Bank of America Stadium, a multiyear project valued at more than $1.3 billion.
The firms will help arrange and service coverage through the project’s construction phases, working with Tepper Sports & Entertainment and the stadium development team. Marsh will handle its brokerage work through its McGriff business.
Construction is being phased so the stadium can remain open for Carolina Panthers football games and Charlotte FC soccer matches. Interior work is underway in 2026, while renovations to areas facing fans are scheduled to begin in 2027.
The renovation is expected to span multiple years. The insurance arrangements are intended to cover work across the project’s various stages.
